Registration opens for IWDS 2006

Registration has now opened for IWDS 2006, the International Workshop on Design Support which will be held in Cardiff, UK, on 10–11 May 2006.

 

This two-day event will focus on the need for further discussion and evaluation of current design support activity, whilst providing inspiration for new challenges and directions. Speakers from a number of different countries and backgrounds, including Professor John Heskett (Hong Kong) and Professor Dong-Sung Cho (South Korea), will be addressing current design support issues such as strategy, impact, challenges and evaluation. There will be a strong focus on the discussion of practical issues for design support implementation within SMEs. Practitioners are attending from Canada, Norway, the USA, Denmark, the Netherlands and the UK, and will address how design support is delivered in their countries. There will also be opportunities for informal discussion and networking.

IWDS 2006 is open to everyone with an interest in design support, not just the seven SEEdesign partners. Further information, including details of how to register, can be found on the IWDS website - www.iwds.org
